Description: Plant criptógama provided with small rizoma, with abundant raicillas and covered by grudges. Frondes is coriáceos, of green color olive, persistent, bipinnatisectos, with numerous obtuse subdivisions. The soros are arranged in the inferior face and are lineares. It measures on the average 10 cm. of height. He is enough frequent in the walls, on rocks, between the fissures, specially in the mountainous zones of average altitude. It is collected at the end of spring.
Way of use: Infusion, dust, tincture, distilled water.
Note: With frondes the water distilled that always has provided remarkable results in oftalmias and numerous diseases of the eyes, in coiris form is prepared. This species has also been cultivated with ornamentales aims, but it has not found much esteem. Its tannin content causes that it has a smooth hemostatic action when using it on small wounds.
