This plant is toxic, due to the presence of a tetracíclico diterpénico alcohol: the andromedotoxina that produces, to high doses: hypotension, bradicardia and respiratory depression.
We recommended to abstain to prescribe it para.uso.interno.

External use:
- Decocción (leaves, flowers): 50 g/l, to boil during 15 minutes. To apply in form of compresas, lotions or baths.
- oleosa Maceration (nutgalls 1/3, olive oil 2/3): To macerate during 20 days. To apply in form of frictions, like antirheumatic.
