Farmacológica Action
Remineralizante, vitaminic. The fundamental use of the beet is the saccharose obtaining, edulcorante and galénicas excipiente of syrups, tablets and other forms. In addition it presents/displays an action hepatoprotectora and hipolipemiante, similar to the alcachofera. Vasoprotector capilarotropo.
Litiasis oxalic. Hiperestrogenias. Hipotiroidismo (to see precautions).
Precaution/Poisonings
The beet contains glucosinolatos. Although it has not been described like indirect effect of the beet, many glucosinolatos exert on the man a antitiroidea, inductive action of the goiter. For that reason we recommended not to prescribe prolonged treatments.
