Farmacológica Action
The litospérmico acid confers antigonadotróficas and hipoglucemiantes properties to him. The fluoradas salts, a antitiroidea action: they antagonizan to the tiroxina, restraining the iodine contribution. The tannins exert an activity astringent, antihemorrágica. Popularly it is used like antipyretic.
Indications
Hipertiroidismo of hipofisario origin, diabetes, menopause. In external use: wounds, vulvovaginitis.
Contraindications
Hipotiroidismo.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
- Infusion: a spoonful of dessert by cup. One to three to the day.
For external use: 30 g/litro, applied in form of washings, or contracted compresas.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 30-50 drops, one to three times to the day.
- It tinctures (1:10): 50-100 drops, three times to the day.
- dry Extract (5:1): 250-500 mg, one to three times to the day.
- Juice of fresh plant: 2.5 mililiter, one to three times to the day.
