Active Principles
Essential oil (0,5-1%): estragol or metil-cavicol (60-70%), terpenos (15 to 20%): ocimeno, felandreno; heterósidos cumarínicos (herniarina).
To evaluate the convenience of its administration (specially in the case of the essential oil) based on its estrogénica action.
Precaution/Poisonings
Precaution when prescribing the essential oil: allergic reactions can take place. Not to exceed the indicated doses: it can be exciting from the central nervous system and produce gastrointestinal irritation.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
- Infusion: a teaspoon of coffee by cup. To instill 10 minutes. Three cups to the day.
- essential Oil: 1 to 3 drops on a lump of sugar, or in capsules (25 to 50 mg/cáps), one to three times to the day.
