Active Principles

Furocromonas: kelina (0,5-1%), visnagina (0,05-0,1%, kelol and kelolglucósido (0,3-1%). Piranocumarinas derived from the sesilina: visnadina, samidina, dihidrosamidina; flavonoides derived from kenferol, quercetol and mirceol.

Farmacológica Action

Furocromonas behaves like relajantes of smooth the muscular fiber, with a espasmolítico on the coronary arteries and the routes respiratory and urinary, coronary, antiarrhythmic, sedative, diurético effect. Externally he is fotosensibilizante.

Properties and indications:

A panacea by the medieval Islamic helenismo was considered.

- It tinctures (1:5): 50-100 drops, one to three times to the day.

- Dust: 0,2 to 1 g/día, in capsules or 200 tablets of mg.
