For garglings in inflammations of weak throat and encías that they bleed. For enemas in diarreas.

Active Principles
Gálico and oxalic starch, acids, abundant tannins (15-20%), vitamin C, iron salts, sugar.
Farmacológica Action
Energetic astringent, tonic general, antianemic, antiinflammatory, the hemostatic premises, healing.
Indications
Anemia. Diarreas. Varices, hemorroides.
In topical use: hurt and dérmicas, buccal or corneales ulceraciones, blefaritis, conjuntivitis, parodontopatías, faringitis, dermatitis, eritemas, prurito, vulvovaginitis.
Contraindications
Gastritis, ulcus gastroduodenal (the tannins irritate the gastric mucosa).
Not to prescribe forms of metering with alcoholic content to smaller children of two years nor to consultantes in process of etílica deshabituación.
Precaution/Poisonings
To consider the alcoholic content of the fluid extract and the dye.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
Internal use:
- Decocción: 30 to 40 g/l, to boil 10 minutes. Three or four cups to the day.
- Dust: 1 to 4 g to the day, in 400 capsules of mg.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 30 to 50 drops, one to three times to the day.
- It tinctures (1:10): 50-100 drops, one to three times to the day.
External use:
- glicólico Extract (1:5), in gel form.
- Decocción: 60 to 80 g/l, to boil 15 minutes. To apply in form of compresas, lotions, baths, irrigations, colutorios or garglings.
