Tannins, essential, rich oil in tuyona.

Farmacológica Action

Popularly it is used like emenagogo and expectorante. The essential oil is caustic, being used like antiverrucoso.

Indications

In external use, condilomas, papilomas.

Indirect effect

We recommended to avoid its administration internally: Tuyona is neurotoxic a powerful one, being able to trigger, to elevated doses, epileptiformes and tetaniformes, transtornos crises psychic and sensorial and hypotension.

Galénicas Forms/Dosage

- It tinctures (1:5): To apply to the day twice, during several weeks, on warts (specially for those of so large minor).

- essential Oil: To apply in form of I am called on on warts, papilomas and condilomas. To protect the surrounding zone with filante petroleum jelly.
