Habitat: one grows up in mountainous and humid lands of all Europe. It abounds specially in the Alps and the Pyrenees.

Description: cms plants herbaceous of about 50. of height, the family of the Saxifragáceas. The leaves have the dentated edge and pecíolo long. The flowers are white, and they are arranged in ramilletes terminal.

Properties and indications: all the plant, and mainly its root, contains tannins, resins, glucósidos and vitamin C. Desarrolla a remarkable diurético effect, and, possibly due to its faculty of alcalinizar tinkles it, favors the dissolution and expulsion of the urinary calculations.

Its use is recommended to favor the elimination of tinkles, specially in case of urinary litiasis (calculations in the kidney), of river sands in it tinkles it and renales cólicos.

Use: in infusion or decocción with 40-60 grams of plant by liter of water, from which 2 or 3 daily cups are taken.
