Farmacológica Action
Antiestrogénico, galactógeno. It inhibits the secretion of hormone FSH, stimulates the LH secretion and it restrains the prolactose secretion. Espasmolítico, sedative, vulnerario.
Indications
Amenorrhoea, dismenorrea, premenstrual syndrome, meopausia, neurovegetativas consecutive transtornos to one hiperfoliculinemia or hiperprolactinemia, distonías: anxiety, insomnia, palpitaciones, tachycardia, vertigos; gastrointestinales espasmos, hurt.
Contraindications
Déficits metabolic of FSH, treatment with feminine hormones.
Not to prescribe oral forms of metering with alcoholic content to smaller children of two years nor to consultantes in process of etílica deshabituación.
Indirect effect
It can produce an increase of the menstrual flow and migraines.
Precaution/Poisonings
To consider the alcoholic content of the fluid extract.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
- Infusion: a sopera spoonful by cup. To instill 15 minutes. Two to four cups to the day.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 1 to 2 g to the day.
- dry Extract (10:1): 100 to 300 mg/día. (1 g equivalent to 10 g of dry plant).
