Diarreas, syndrome of the null and voidable intestine, ulcerosas colitis. Gastroduodenales Dismenorreas, ulcers, anemias. In topical use: varicose wounds, ulcers, estomatitis, parodontopatías, faringitis, blefaroconjuntivitis, eczemas, vulvovaginitis, intértrigo.
Contraindications
Not to prescribe oral forms of metering with alcoholic content to smaller children of two years nor to consultantes in process of etílica deshabituación.
Indirect effect
It can originate gastric transtornos, by its tannin content. In order to avoid it it agrees to associate it to demulcentes drugs, like malva, the malvavisco or llantén.
Precaution/Poisonings
To consider the alcoholic content of the fluid extract and the dye.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
Internal use:
- Infusion: 20 or 30 g in the middle liter of water. To instill during twenty minutes. To take it during the day.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 25-100 drops by dose, one to three times to the day.
- It tinctures (1:5): 1-4 mililiter, one to three times to the day.
- dry Extract (5:1): 100-500 mg, two to three times to the day.
- Dust: a teaspoon of dessert one to three times to the day.
External use:
- Decocción: 70 to 100 g/l, to boil two minutes. To apply under form of compresas, vaginal lotions, baths or irrigations.
