Indirect effect
The tannins can determine an increase in the cloropéptica secretion. When it must prescribe for oral use to hypersecretory patients with dispepsias, we recommended to administer after the meals, associate to demulcentes drugs, like the root of malvavisco.
Exceptionally, to the being applied on the mucous, it can produce inflammatory reactions of allergic type.
Precaution/Poisonings
Not to use than two weeks followed more, if it is not by facultative prescription.
To consider the alcoholic content of the flowed extract, the dye and the syrup.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
Internal use:
- Decocción: 20 g/l, to boil 2 minutes. To instill during 15 minutes. Three cups to the day.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 20-40 drops, one to three times to the day.
- It tinctures (1:10): 50-100 drops, one to three times to the day.
- Syrup (5% of fluid extract): 10 to 60 g/día.
- dry Extract (5:1): 0,50 to 1 g/día.
Supositorios: 1 g of extract for supositorio of 2 g. One to three to the day.
External use:
- fluid or glicólico Extract: in gel form, cream or lotion.
- Decocción: applied in form of washings, ocular compresas, coirises or baths (to isotonizar), vaginal colutorios, garglings or irrigations.
