Active Principles

Vitamins B, C, P. sulfurated Esencia, with glucosinolatos. Antocianósidos. Mineral salts: iodine, magnesium and sulfur.

Farmacológica Action

Appetizer, digestive, colerético, hepatoprotector, expectorante, diurético, antiseptic, vitaminic.

In topical use he is rubefaciente.

Indications

Lack of appetite, dispepsias hyposecretory, meteorismo, disquinesias hepatobiliares, colecistitis, hepatitis, migrañas of hepático origin. Influenza, resfriados, bronchitis, enfisema, asthma, faringitis, irritativa cough, sinusitis. Cystitis, urolitiasis, reumatismo, drop, escorbuto.

In topical use: mialgias, inflammations osteoarticulares, eczemas.

Contraindications

Gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer, hipotiroidismo (to see precautions).

Not to prescribe oral forms of metering with alcoholic content to smaller children of two years nor to consultantes in process of etílica deshabituación.

Precaution/Poisonings

Between present sulphured compounds in the radish, it is possible to emphasize the indometilglucosinolato and the isotiocianato of alilo. Many glucosinolatos present/display a antitiroidea, inductive action of goiter, reason why it is recommended to have caution if it is prescribed to people with predisposition to the hipotiroidismo.

The isotiocianato of alilo can be irritating gastric.

To consider the alcoholic content of the flowed extract, the dye and the syrup.

Galénicas Forms/Dosage

- nourishing Use: Crude, in the salads.

- Juice: one or two soperas spoonfuls, half an hour before the meals.

- fluid Extract (1:1): 2 to 6 g/día, taken before the meals.

- It tinctures (1:10): 50 drops, half an hour before the meals.

- Syrup (5% of fluid extract): three to six soperas spoonfuls to the day.

- dry Extract (5:1): 0,2 to 1 g/día.
