Of interest: The name comes from the observation from which the root manages to infiltrate between the fissures of stones and has made think that it has capacity to solubilizar carbonates (saxafrango, to break stones). For that reason it was used like litóntrica. However, it is useful in the cases of hepática insufficiency and, in external application, lotions on the aged skin. Used assiduously, the dye, is advisable in the cases of lack of appetite. The distilled water is used like coiris. The young leaves are mixed in the salads like perfuming, by their taste similar to the one of the parsley.
