The use of this plant is frequent in almost all the countries and where the fruit, the leaves, seeds and látex are used, same that are recommended to solve problems of digestive type like pain and inflammation of stomach, diarrea and constipation; in addition it turns out effective like vomitivo and to fortify the stomach. Also it is used very frequently against the intestinal parasites in the children, for which it is recommended to eat the boiled seeds average with a little látex of the plant, or the fruit in uninformed during three days and ingesting a tea prepared with the leaves. It is used, in addition, for pain chest, asthma, bronchitis, difteria and pulmonary pain.
Shrub of 2 to 5 ms of height, simple stem with great leaves, extended and with cracks. Their flowers are yellow and are united to the trunk, where they leave fleshy fruits. She is original of Mexico and it lives in climates warm, semiwarm and semidry. It grows in orchards and she is associate to the tropical forest caducifolia, subcaducifolia, subperennifolia, perennifolia, forests mesófilo of mountain, encino and pine.
