Description: Greasy plant provided with short rizoma and slightly tuberoso stem. The leaves are fleshy, hanging, peltadas, crenadas. The flowers are arranged in clusters with the cylindrical corola, divided in fine teeth of approximately a quarter of their, off-white or green length overall reddish. The fruit is formed by five free follicles. It is common in the walls, next to the olive groves, rocks, tile roofs, etc. The stem can measure up to 40 cm. of height. It is collected in summer.

Active Principles: Trimetilamina, waxes, chlorophyll, fotosterina.

Indications: Lenitivo, diurético.

Its Uso: Juice, pulp, infusion.

Information: The squashed leaves cause the fast maturation of the forúnculos and scars. They are used in form of pomada in the painful hemorroides. From the leaves a yellow colorante substance is obtained. It is also cultivated as it plants ornamental for the rocky rustic gardens, given his easy adaptability. The juice has been used against the otitis purulentas, applying it directly to the auditory conduit.
