Shrub of until a meter of stop, with robust branches and the pubescente young foliage. Leaves of 30-100 cm. in length, foliolos of 6-12 pairs, sharp-pediculados-compounds, elliptical, something inequiláteros, pecíolos robust without glands. Yellow, showy flowers in clusters terminal or located in the superior armpits. Straight cases or 4 winged and almost, longitudinally longitudinally dehiscente, multitabicada of 10-15 cm. in length and approximately 1.5 cm. wide, flattened seeds, transversas parallel to the partitions, brown with 5 mm in length.
Origin
Tropical America, introduced in tropical of the Old World.
Location
Apparently nonlocatable of natural form, widely cultivated like ornamental in parks, avenues and gardens of the city and the field.
Other attributed properties
Herpes (micosis) and other diseases of the skin. They kill old, diurética, sudorífica and laxative.
