Aperitiva-estoma'quica, eupéptica, carminativa, antiemética (actions similar to those of jengibre). Espasmolítico, antiinflammatory, tonic general.
Indications
Lack of appetite, dispepsias hyposecretory, flatulencia. Asthenia, convalecencia. Popularly used in: dismenorreas, prevention of vomits and mareos and, in masticatorios, against the odontalgias.
Contraindications
Not to prescribe forms of metering with alcoholic content for oral administration to smaller children of two years nor to consultantes in process of etílica deshabituación.
Precaution/Poisonings
To consider the alcoholic content of the fluid extract and the dye.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
- Infusion 3%, a cup half an hour before the meals.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 10 to 20 drops, before each food.
- It tinctures (1:10): 20 to 40 drops, before each food.
