Farmacológica Action: Antiinflamtorio, balsamic (expectorante), espasmolítico, acting specially on the respiratory and biliary routes, diurético.
Indications: Inflammations, Combat the ronquera. Cough. Pulmonary colds. Escorbuto, Faringitis, laryngitis ("Hierba of cantores"), bronchitis, asthma. Disquinesias hepatobiliares, colecistitis, colelitiasis.
Contraindications
Obstruction of the biliary routes. Not to prescribe forms of metering with alcoholic content for oral administration to smaller children of two years nor to consultantes in process of etílica deshabituación.
Precaution/Poisonings
To consider the alcoholic content of the flowed extract, the dye and the syrup.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
Internal use:
- Infusion: a spoonful of dessert by cup, to instill during 20 minutes. Three or four cups to the day, after the meals.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 30 drops, one to three times to the day.
- It tinctures (1:10): 50 drops, one to three times to the day.
- Syrup (10% of fluid extract): two or three soperas spoonfuls (40 to 60 g) to the day.
Topical use:
- Infusion: A spoonful of dessert by cup. To apply in form of garglings or inhalations.
- fluid Extract (1:5): 50 drops on a decocción of malvavisco. To apply in form of garglings two or three times to the day.
