This plant commonly is recommended like diurético and for malaises of the kidney, for which the infusion is taken from all the plant, preferredly in uninformed; some times it is prepared with other plants, it is let calm one night and to the other day in uninformed it is taken as water from use.
When there is pain waist or back, the cofoundation of this one and other grass like retama and tail of horse, one interferes as use water.
As it is administered: The infusion in uninformed or like tea. Other applications that the Doradilla has are for the cough, intestinal, diarrea parasites, reumatismo, to purify the blood and to expel the placenta. This plant occurs to a large extent of Center America and Panama.
Small plant that is developed beaten to the rocky substrate and has appearance of rosette without stem; their leaves are overlapping and when the curing they are coiled in themselves and they form yellowish balls. It lives in climates warm, semiwarm, semidry, dry and tempering. It grows associate to the tropical forest caducifolia and subcaducifolia, scrub xerófilo, forests of encino and compound of pine.

Plant little studied. The tannin presence has been described, organic and mucílagos acids.
Farmacológica Action
Popular use like: Diurético, colerético, hypotension, hipoviscosizante, general and antitusivo tonic.
Indications
States in which an increase of the diuresis is required: genitourinarias affections (cystitis, uretritis, uretritis, oliguria, urolitiasis), hiperazotemia, hiperuricemia, drop, arterial hypertension, edemas, overweight accompanied by retention of liquids. Prevention of arteriosclerosis; disquinesias biliary. Bronchitis, influenza, resfriados.
Recommended in the renales calculations, digestive upheavals like stomach inflammation, ulcers, pain liver and biliary vesicle.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
Infusion: 1 spoonful by cup; two or three cups to the day, after the meals.
