The resinous exudate obtained by incision of the trunk.
Active Principles
It draws resin from (80%): combined resínicos alcohol with acids benzóico and cinámico. Acidos aromatic free (10-15% of cinámico, 8% of benzóico); esters (benzoate and cinamato of bencilo); plans of vainillina, eugenol, ferúlico acid.
Its topical use can originate dermatitis of contact in sensible people.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
- Syrup (5-10%), in association with other béquicas or expectorantes plants: Three or four spoonfuls to the day.
- fluid Extract (1:1): 15 to 30 drops, three times to the day.
- It tinctures (1:5): 30-50 drops, one to three times to the day, or in topical application.
