NADH (reduced Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is the active form, with activity coenzyme of vitamin B3. Has a key role in energy production of all cells and their presence is especially important to maintain balance and proper functioning of the nervous system, memory, concentration and other intellectual functions.
The NADH is essential for the production of ATP, "universal energy currency". The ATP stores energy in the joints between its atoms in the form of chemical energy. These unions can be broken easily, and in doing so, they provide a considerable amount of energy the cell uses to perform vital functions. Thus, each time the cell needs energy, derived from the molecules of ATP.
Permanently energy is required. This means that at any time is being spent molecules of ATP. In turn, continuous cell must form new molecules of ATP to recover those that were used. That is, it produces a cycle of degradation and synthesis of ATP.
But the synthesis of ATP also requires energy, which is derived from the transformation of the nutrients they provide food. Specifically, the ATP is formed as a result of cellular respiration that occurs in the mitochondria of cells. This is a process that includes a series of physiological actions in which it releases the energy contained in the nutrients from food.
One of these processes is aimed at the release of energy from glucose. During this stage, get rid of hydrogen atoms that are accepted by the recipient of a substance of hydrogen ions, called NAD + (nicotinamide adenine nucleotide) and becomes its short form, the NADH, which will participate in the final process of cellular respiration.
In this final stage the atoms of hydrogen stored in the NADH will be giving in to the final production of molecules of ATP.
The NADH, also known as coenzyme 1, is present in raw meat, poultry, fish and small amounts in fruits and vegetables, but is destroyed in large measure to boil or fry foods. Therefore, there is very little usable for fuel cells.
For this reason, it is desirable to ensure adequate provision of this energy source to help with the physiological functions of the agency involved in energy production.
In addition, under certain circumstances that require a higher intellectual or physical effort, it is advisable to supplement the diet with concentrated sources of nutrients such as coenzyme NADH, so that your body and mind have all the energy they need at any given moment.
Studies supplementing the diet with the nutrient have shown beneficial effects in maintaining the balance of the body before the imbalances caused by the jet-lag and lack of sleep.
Likewise, also involved in physiological processes related to the synthesis of neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin, are essential to maintaining the balance of the nervous system and a good mood. It is also considered a potent antioxidant, able to curb the potential damage from free radicals on the cells.
The L-CARNITINE is a natural constituent of the body. This is a nutrient similar to a vitamin that not only is obtained through food (mainly those of animal origin), but it is also synthesized by the body itself. The main function of L-Carnitine is to facilitate the transport of long-chain fatty acids from the cytoplasm to the interior of the mitochondria, where it will undergo the betaoxidación, and therefore energy production.
It is now known to many reasons why you may have a deficiency of the nutrient (genetic causes, age, imbalances in the diet, kidney or liver disease, or the use of certain drugs). In addition, certain situations such as intense physical activity or stress cardiovascular increasing energy needs and hence the demand for L-carnitine. Supplementing the diet with the nutrient contributes to the levels needed to maintain all the vitality needed to deal every day with energy.
Taurine is an amino acid present in its free form in most tissues and is one of the most abundant essential amino acids in the muscle, platelets, and in the nervous system.
Play a variety of roles in the normal functioning of the brain, heart, gallbladder, eyes and the cardiovascular system. Is also involved in the metabolism of fats to facilitate the absorption, transport and use of fatty acids in order to obtain energy.
