Beta-glucan is a polysaccharide (a subgroup of carbohydrates), relatives of other soluble fibers such as inulin and fructooligosaccharides (FOS). Present mainly in yeast, in certain types of mushrooms (shiitake, reishi ...) and cereals such as oats and maize, its properties are very helpful.
INDICATIONS:
-Cholesterol:
beta-glucan act by stimulating the body's macrophages (cells "Eater" and cleaning), can reduce in a few weeks the amount of 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) levels, while removing atherosclerotic plaque already formed.
-Immune system:
People with a weakened imnunitario, hit repeatedly by colds, flu, pneumonia and intestinal infections, food may include beta-glucan in their diet, they increase the body's defenses.
-Anti-cancer:
it has been scientifically proven that beta-glucan largely prevent the emergence and development of cancerous tumors. In addition, they also increase the effectiveness of medication for cancer patients and reduce the toxicity of such treatments.
-Antioxidant:
beta-glucan have demonstrated excellent antioxidant, good for the health of cells attacked by free radicals.
COMPOSITION:
Each tablet contains 200 mg of concentrated yeast cell walls, providing naturally also 1.6 glucans.
Beta-glucan from cell wall of yeast (S. cerevisiae) which are standardized at 34% of total beta-glucan (20% beta glucan 1.3 = 200 mg and 14% beta glucan 1.6 = 140 mg 1000 mg each), are in line with nature and respect the synergistic effect between beta-glucan, as the species of yeast S. Cerevisiae contains them both in their cell walls.
