Yasí watched excited the trees, that offered their olorosos fruits; the whispering branches, moved by the wind; the green one of the leaves, almost white when she approached.

Yasí felt under its naked feet the humid smoothness of the grass, and vió its beautiful reflected lunar face in deep waters of the rivers.

Yasí and Arai were happy in their excursion through the forest; but their bodies were gotten tired.

They walked at night dark leaving to its step a light shade.

The distant spot, in a clear one of the forest, they saw a ruinous cabin, and towards her they were directed to look for a little rest, then, although they were goddesses in its celestial dwelling, felt the fatigue under the form of doncellas.

Suddenly, his sharpened ears they felt slight the chasquido one of a small branch when becoming broken.

Yasí returned its radiating face towards that place, and its light illuminated a tiger, yaguareté that was rushed simultaneously on them who were dazzled by the sudden luminosity. The old Indian had lived rejuvenated during the last minutes that the fight lasted; it seemed as if all the vigor of its youth had returned to its powerful arm; but, as soon as the tiger was dead, its arms hung heavy throughout the body, although the hand continued holding with force the covered with blood knife.

Later, with the still jadeante breathing, their eyes looked for the two girls.

Yasí, that had begun to rejoice with the first words of the old one, felt the fear of which this one did not continue, when seeing that it made a pause in his begun story.

Then Arai, the pink cloud, made an attempt so that the desire of its friend was satisfied, and asked:

- and long ago that you live in the forest?

Only the affection which I have my daughter could make me commit this species of madness. But I am happy, alive calm.

The old one shut up and no of the two knew what to answer to him.

Then Yasí, seeing that it edge of a forest was close, requested to him that it left them, after promising to him that to anybody they would speak of his encounter.
