The tannins are responsible for their effect astringent, antidiarréico, the hemostatic premises. The pectina and sorbitol, present/display a osmótica and mechanical laxative action, in addition to colagoga. Popularly one is used like diurético, digestive, vitaminic astringent, emenagogo and (antiescorbútico).
Indications
Constipation, diarrea, disquinesias biliary.
Contraindications
Obstruction of the biliary routes.
Precaution/Poisonings
The decocción of the crust by the root, trunk or branches and the abusive consumption of fresh berries, can be toxic.
Galénicas Forms/Dosage
Fluid extract (1:1): 20 drops, 1 to 3 times to the day.
