Properties: diurético and tonic of the heart. Their effects are more important on the heart that its diuréticas properties; their two actions are complemented very opportunely, from which its general support is beneficiary. Some modern investigators have demonstrated that in many cases he acts better than the digitalis (the classic remedy of the heart) and without CL danger dc the cumulative poisonous effects.

Indications: in the diseases of the same heart, as they are: weakness of the heart; great heart (hipertrofiado); functional deficiencies of the heart (defects of the valves or injuries) and in the diseases caused by one of these lack or deficiencies, as they can be: congestión of blood in the lungs with its corresponding difficulty to breathe (disnea), as well as in the cases of swellings by retention of liquid in weaves. In these last cases it is doubly indicated this plant by his diuréticas properties and tonic cardiac.

Use: in infusion of flowers, a small spoonful by cup, four cups to the day. If the alcoholic dye of the convalaria is used they will take thirty drops to the day, distributed in three or four takings. Without previous indication of the doctor, it does not agree to use this plant, since being eminently specific it only must be used after a good diagnosis.
