Properties and indications: all the plant contains a rich essential oil in estragol, felandreno and ocimeno, as well as in hidroxicumarina. It has aperitive, digestive and carminativas properties (it eliminates intestinal gases); antiseptic for the pathogenic germs of tracto digestive; vermifugal when doing to expel the intestinal parasites; and emenagogas since: it stimulates the menstruation. It is indicated in cases from lack of appetite, slow or heavy digestion, flatulencia, intestinal fermentation and intestinal parasites.

Use: like condimento in salads and all type of plates. In infusion of 30 grs. by liter of water, a cup before each food like appetizer, and after the food if its digestive action looks for. Essence: the recommendable dose is 3 to 5 drops, 3 times to the day.

Precautions: of the essence the indicated doses are not due to exceed, since it can produce a strong excitation of the nervous system.
