Active Principles

Abundant organic acids: hibíscico (15-23%), málico, citrus, tartárico, ascórbico; antocianósidos (1-2%): hibiscina, delfinidina; fitosteroles; pectina; abundant mucílagos.

Farmacológica Action

Vitaminic, aperitive, digestive, colagogo, demulcente, diurético, laxative, Espasmolítico; vasoprotector, peripheral vasodilator, tranquilizer. Much like organoléptico corrector is used, when incorporating to the infusions a showy red color and an pleasant refrescante acidulous flavor. In the origin countries (tropical and subtropical zones of Africa, America and Asia), the infusion constitutes a social drink.

Indications

Espasmos gastrointestinales, constipation, hepatobiliares lack of appetite, dispepsias hyposecretory, disquinesias, gastroenteritis. Hypertension, hair fragility, varices, hemorroides. Anxiety, insomnia. Resfriados, influenza.

Contraindications

Not to prescribe forms of metering with alcoholic content for oral administration to smaller children of two years nor to consultantes in process of etílica deshabituación.

Galénicas Forms/Dosage

Internal use:

- Infusion: A spoonful of dessert by cup. Three or more cups to the day.
