Active Principles
Aporfínicos alkaloids:
glaucina, sprocket, glauvina.
Farmacológica Action
Antitusígeno, colerético. Látex is used topically like antioverrucoso (antiviral).
Indications
Disquinesia to hepatobiliar, irritativa cough. Polularmente, látex, for the treatment of warts.
Contraindications
Not to use internally when bilares exists hepática insufficiency or obstruction of the routes
Precaution/Poisonings
Due to the presence of alkaloids, we recommended to abstain to prescribe it internally.
Látex is irritating of the mucous and vesicant.
Not to use in children.

Internal use:
- Infusion:
a teaspoon of coffee by cup, to instill 10 minutes. Two cups to the day, after the meals.
External use:
- Látex:
topical application on warts, protecting the surrounding zones with filante petroleum jelly.
