In Mexico one grows up this plant of composition and properties similar to those of the wormwood (contains rich essential oil in tuyona) and to the one of the marine wormwood (it contains santonina).

Its essence grants aperitive properties (it increases the secretion to him of gastric juice), coleréticas (increases the secretion biliary) and emenagogas (it facilitates the menstruation). By his content in santonina it is used as vermifugo (it expels the intestinal parasites).

Use: the infusion is prepared with 10 grs. from plant by liter of water, and 2 or 3 daily cups are taken.
