This tree is used as laxative and diurético it is recommended, also, to deal with sufferings kidney and its treatment includes the fruit, the crust, the flowers and the root, same that are boiled and ingested like tea. In other cases like calculations and urinary routes, it turns out effective to grind the fruit and to ingest the extract or to roast it and to eat it. In addition the baking to the flower, the root or the fruit, are a good diurético. Also one is used for other diseases like asthma, garraspera, gripa and cough; the flowers with tejocote are boiled and they are sweetened to drink it lukewarm in uninformed during two weeks.
