Description: Own herbaceous plant of Afghanistan and Iran, that can reach to a meter of height, with great and fleshy axonomorfa root. The leaves are pinnatocompuestas, carrying of laciniados segments. The stem is fistuloso and graft. The flowers meet in umbelas apicales that maintain up to 50 radios, with whole, oval petals, with the retroflexible extremity. Some times also show invólucro with brácteas and bracteolas. The fruit is almost spherical or elipsoidal, squashed, with the winged, membranoso margin. It is collected in summer.

Used parts: The oleogomorresina, obtained by means of incision practiced in the root.

Composed chemical: Asarresinotanol, ferúlico acid, essence of exenilo, disulfuro of exenilo, hemstitch.

Antispasmódica properties, cardiotónica.
