Anagálide aquatic is a plant vivaz that usually measures of 10 to 30 cm of height; the stems grow level with the ground reason why they rise little. He is advisable to take this fresh plant since it is difficult to conserve after cut.
Like other plants of their family have antiescorbúticas properties and diuréticas but their effects are enough slight, reason why normally it is replaced by other plants like becabunga, that besides to have stronger effects, abounds more in the Iberian Peninsula. Sometimes, also it is used like aperitive before the meals since it is very easy to prepare, in a salad for example.
Natural: He is advisable to take the aerial part from this fresh plant. After collecting it it is washed and it is divided adding it in a salad; it is possible to be decorated as if outside lettuce.
Juice: To express the leaves of the plant just collected; pure juice can be taken or mixed with water and if the flavor is not very pleasant it can add to sugar or honey.
Syrup: Liter of the juice of this plant with other plants is mixed means like, for example, the coclearia.
