Lamberts Acidophilus Extra 4 ® is a flagship product sales. Each capsule contains 4,000 million friendly bacteria viable. We use beneficial bacterial strains Lactobacillus acidophilus La-5 and Bifidobacterium bifidum Bb 12 (the most popular strains in clinical studies). The bacteria are freeze-dried and coated with a matrix of a stable in acidic polysaccharide that provides protection against stomach acid 50 times greater than they have the bacteria without matrix.
And while our product is stable at room temperature, stored under refrigerated until shipment to assure maximum power. Also included in each pack a bag with desiccant to prevent moisture affecting the viability of the bacteria.
