NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION PER CAPSULE:
Thiamin (Vitamin B1), 100 mg.
USES:
Vitamin B-1 (Thiamine) is important in the enzymatic release of energy from carbohydrates. Is water soluble and not stored in the body.
Also needed for the integrity of the nervous system, since it is essential for the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
In its co-enzyme thiamine pyrophosphate, is essential in several metabolic functions, among which include the elimination of carbon dioxide and decarboxylation of alpha-keto acids.
Thiamine works synergistically with other elements of the B complex vitamins, particularly riboflavin (Vitamin B-2) and niacin.
The supplement may be recommended for:
• Heavy drinkers and / or smoking.
• Those who perform strenuous physical labor.
• Young people, in times of rapid growth.
