Flavonoids Holofit - Equisalud - 60 capsules
The union of plants with different active ingredients such as flavonoids, curcuminoids and derivatives Salicylic can act on the different mechanisms of action of the inflammatory process.
Black currant (Ribes nigrum):
The essential constituents of the leaves are single and quercetin and kaempferol diglycoside mainly isoquercitrin and routine, monomeric flavanols such as catechin, epicatechin, gallocatechin and epigallocatechin and a flavanone, sakuranetina. Give anti-inflammatory properties, effective in both proliferative and exudative stage of inflammation, which have been shown in numerous studies in vivo.
ESCOP approved for use as an adjunct in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. Flavonoids act by three mechanisms: they inhibit the release of histamine, catecholamines trigger the secretion of adrenocortical level and exert an antagonistic action on catechol-oxymethyl-transferase, responsible for the inactivation of catecholamine-inflammatory.
Turmeric (Curcuma longa):
Turmeric from India, containing mainly curcuminoids curcumin, and bisdesmetoxicurcumina monodesmetoxicurcumina. Curcumin shows anti-inflammatory action in animal models of inflammation on both acute and chronic. This remarkable anti-inflammatory activity has been associated, at least partially, with its effects on the biosynthesis of prostaglandins, and that curcumin is able to inhibit both 5-lipoxygenase activity and the activities 12-lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase. Also exerts a strong antioxidant activity.
Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) and willow (Salix alba): Both the meadowsweet and willow salicylic derivatives have anti-inflammatory properties, analgesic and antipyretic. The meadowsweet contains salicylic glycosides monotropitósido is mainly hydrolyzed by the bacterial flora resulting in methyl salicylate. It also has espiraósido mainly flavonoids, and hyperoside avicularina with uricosuric diuretic and, in addition to enhancing the antiinflammatory activity of methyl salicylate. Willow bark contains salicin and other salicylic glycosides. Phytotherapy is the precursor of aspirin known as aspirin.
