From the spinal marrow they leave all the nerves that allow to the movement and sensitivity of the extremities, arms and legs.

For this reason, any damage that undergoes the spinal marrow or by accident or disease, represents a very complex injury that can affect the body in several different forms.

It is important to stress that most of the cases of injury of spinal marrow it is caused by accidents: avenues, atropellamientos or falls of bicycle, high motorcycle, sites, bungies and other sports of high risk, ski and others, reason why can be avoided if the established safety measures are adopted and respected.

The spinal marrow is a structure integrated by many spinal nervous fibers that transport messages, establishing a uninterrupted communications between the brain and the different parts from the body. The messages can be related to the movement, the sensations like the pain, the heat or the cold.

Since the spinal marrow is one of the most important parts of the nervous system and is so delicate, it is surrounded and protected by the spine, integrated of a series of bones that form the vertebrae. The column vertebran is the bony part that represents in axis of the support of our body and the spinal marrow in its interior, has an important paper in the movement and sensitivity of the body.

The spine is divided in four sections:

- the cervical one, integrated by seven cervical vertebrae that divide from the base of the skull and this section leaves from 7 for 8 spinal nerves.

- the section the ridge, has twelve vertebrae and includes the part of the chest and from her it leaves the same number of spinal nerves.

- It continues the lumbar section, conformed by five vertebrae, to the height of the waist and 5 spinal nerves.

- and the sacred section, at the end of the column, has five vertebrae fused in a single bone and finishes in coxis. Also it has 5 spinal nerves.

The nerves that are within the spinal marrow, are the superior motor neurons and they are in charge to transport the roundtrip messages from the brain towards the spinal nerves throughout the spinal region.

The spinal nerves that are ramifican outside the spinal marrow towards the other parts of the body are the inferior motor neurons and these nerves leave and enter the height of each vertebra and they communicate with specific areas of the body to give movement them.
