The fever of the hay, well-known in some places like polinosis or seasonal allergic rinitis, is a disease caused by the seasonal allergy to pólenes or other vegetal products and it is pronounced the same by with greater hardness during the months of spring and summer during the flowering.

As these elements float in the atmosphere, it is very easy that they are inhaled producing the characteristic reactions, that are symptoms of: conjuntivitis, rinitis, asthma and general malaise.

Symptoms similar to those of the fever of the hay that can cause rinitis but nonallergies, cause chemical agent gases, smoke, cold air and the hormonal changes due to the menstruation and the pregnancy.

When a alérgeno penetrates for the first time in the organism, the immune system reacts producing a defensive antibody called inmunoglobulina E (IgE).

The initial exhibition does not produce symptoms, but the IgE antibodies are united to other similars: the basófilos - certain type of white globules or to the mastocitos, that cover the respiratory routes, the internal and the skin of such form that when a later exhibition, the antibodies pay attention to the alergeno and stimulate to the mastocitos or the basófilos so that they produce histamina and other substances that cause the allergic symptoms.

When there is an allergy to polen and mould, the nose reacts making histaminas, that cause like reaction estornudos and nasal draining, to expel what it is causing annoyance to them.

In the case of the eyes, also they are irritated, they produced comezón and they lagrimean to clean itself.

The allergy to polen is more frequent in young people, during the adolescence and tends to improve as of the 50 years.

The symptoms of the fever of the hay, are similar to which causes another type of allergies, like a those that they cause the animals, the dust and the acaruses, but the difference is in which these allergies last all the year.

As the histamina exerts its greater effect in the skin, mucous membranes, the eyes, the lungs and tracto gastrointestinal, most of the allergic reactions they affect these organs. According to the type of allergy, the symptoms go from estornudos, nasal draining, comezón, tearful eyes, eruptions and the dangerous anaphylactic shock

The main symptoms, that are become serious when the person leaves, is heat or windy, are:

- Ardor, reddening, swelling and picazón in the eyes, with sensation to have sand in them.

- nasal Comezón, watery draining, constant estornudos and obstruction of the nose.

- Cough.

- Sibilación of the chest.

- Expectoración.

- Fatigue.

- Fatigue.

- Depression.

- Fever.
