Disease or Vertigo of Meniére

Increase of the liquid in the semicircular conduits of the internal ear that help to maintain the balance.

The excess of liquid produces pressure in the internal ear, altering the balance, which causes the vertigo, and sometimes decreasing hearing.

It affects both sexes, slightly commonest in the women, between the 30 and 60 years.

Complications

Permanent auditory loss.

Prognosis
