The cod liver oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamin D and vitamin A, both soluble, so that an oil go favors its proper assimilation.

The cod liver oil is rich in beta carotene, which in the small intestine is converted into vitamin A, very good viewing as it is a constituent of the visual purple of the retina and also necessary for the protection of cornea.

Beta-carotene is therefore a precursor of vitamin A, which is essential for healthy mucous membranes of both eyes, and nasal, oral and other (throat, lungs, digestive tract, bladder, etc..).

Vitamin D (calciferol) is essential for the absorption, metabolism and binding of calcium.
